§ 8-5. Same—Issuance of plates; attachment; removal prohibited.

(a)

Plates. The police department, upon issuing a bicycle license, shall also issue a license plate bearing the license number assigned to the bicycle and the name of the city.

(b)

Attachment. The license plate shall be firmly attached to the rear fender or frame of the bicycle for which issued in such position as to be plainly visible.

(c)

Removal. No person shall remove a license plate from a bicycle during the period for which issued, except in the event the bicycle is dismantled and no longer operated upon any street in this city.
