§ 8-23. Auction of unclaimed bicycles, etc.

The police department may sell any unclaimed or impounded bicycles, bicycle parts, sleds, wagons or any other toy devices after they have been unclaimed or in possession of the police department for a period of not less than one year, such sale to be at public auction after advertisement thereof in the official city newspaper once, at least ten (10) days before the day of such sale. Such auction shall not be subject to the provisions of Chapter 7.
