§ 8-22. Penalty for violations of chapter and traffic regulations.

In case of violations of this chapter or any provisions of Chapter 21, the owner or operator of any bicycle shall be punished by a fine of not more than fifty dollars ($50.00) or by impoundment of such person's bicycle for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days or by any combination thereof. The police department may retain possession of such bicycle until the license provided for herein is obtained.
