Chapter 7. AUCTIONEERS

§ 7-2. License—Required.

Latest version.

No sale of goods, wares, merchandise or other property, real or personal shall be made at auction within the city, except such as are made under and by virtue of legal process or under or by virtue of a mortgage or lien, by any person, his copartner or clerk unless such person shall have first obtained a license for such purpose as provided in the following section.
